About Us

I am Lowri and I'm the founder of Peek-A-Boo Babies. I  have worked in multiple teaching settings, from theatres to schools, since the age of 16. I am currently a secondary school Performing Arts teacher. As well as this I am also a qualified Tummy Time Practitioner and first aider.

I am also a mum to two amazing children. My little girl born during lockdown, so I am able to understand and relate to the everyday challenges and exhilaration that being a mum brings.

Peek-A-Boo Babies is the realisation of a dream I have had since my little boy was born. I loved the classes I attended with my son Theodore, and made some amazing mummy friends. It made me think I would love to give this opportunity to others. However, maternity finished and I went back to work. Then Covid hit and the first lockdown started, just as we planned to expand out family so we waited. However, after a year of Covid we decided we could not wait forever and soon had the happy news that we were expecting. However, as many mums will tell you, pregnancy through Covid is difficult and emotional and I found that I missed the opportunity to socialise with other mums during pregnancy and just after the birth. Once back in baby classes I realised how truly important they are to a new parent and how they can make you feel. With this realisation that they are even more important than ever I decided that it was time my dream became a reality.
